Through her fascination with our changing culture and the emerging church, the “Fellowship of the Screen” film discussion series was born. It is a ministry of Lookout Mountain Community Church and is a communal gathering designed to help modern evangelicals begin to dialogue with the thoughts and questions of postmodern thinkers through pizza, popcorn and good movies.
Ellen’s background also includes a nursing degree from the University of New Hampshire and she has worked in medical research, women’s health and neonatal intensive care.
She is married to Aram, a pastor of Congregational Care at Lookout Mountain Community Church in Golden, Colorado. She is mom to Lauren, 19, who is a film student, and Jared, 17, who really rocks on the guitar, as well as to two ex-racing greyhounds and two non-racing cats.
